Michael Kilfoyle recently presented the results of the Hickok & Boardman Vermont Employee Benefits Survey to members of the Vermont Human Resources Association in Burlington. The survey was released in September and has been conducted since 2002. The survey tracks trends in benefit plans including costs, design, funding and employee contributions. During his presentation, Michael presented on how benefits plans may look in the future including newer concepts like captive insurance, defined contribution and benefit administration systems and decision making tools that allow for private exchanges.
